My work is the product of being a social worker who discovered that my happy and grounding place is making art or being covered in mud. Working with clay, painting, getting sucked into my latest mixed media project, all allow me to remain grounded in my work in service to my community. My orientation in the world is one of community building and often in the context of breaking bread in community. I create art in order to spread beauty in the world and functional pottery with the intention of bringing people together in community.
