Hand dyed, hand woven ikat textiles and art made with all natural fibers.
Amanda Speer is a handweaver and dyer. Her work focuses on intricate hand drafted, handwoven textiles and artwork. She lives and works out of her hand made Earthship home with her partner in weaving and life, Dain Daller. The two make The Warp Zone. Amanda and Dain learned to Weave and Dye over the last decade and a half in beautiful Northern New Mexico. Speer and Daller dye all of their woven work with rain water collected from their roof. Their ever evolving work strives to use sustainable practices in textile design, creating heirloom pieces, with the use of natural fibers. Amanda and Dain were the US representatives of the World Ikat Symposium 2016-2019. Their work has been shown throughout Asia and the US. You can view their work on their website at www.warpzoneweaving.com and follow the two on instagram @warpzonee.
