Ginger Legato

Ginger Legato works to create imagery and form that hopefully moves a viewer's emotions. The imagery evolves from sources as diverse as desert landscape to olympic athlete; a sleeper on a train to baptism in the atlantic ocean. Whatever catches Ginger's interest is subject for expression in sculpture, prints, drawings and paintings.

Ginger is a graduate of Pratt in Brooklyn, NY; works freelance as a book designer for major NY publishers; has published poetry in many magazines and a book of poetry titled "Slipping Inward"; and is happy to show her work at her Abiquiu studio by appointment.
